When Hot Pink Deicer owners Troy and Linda Clogg learned about the devastating financial effects that a breast cancer diagnosis was having on members of their community, they found a way to help. Troy’s experience with snow removal sparked the idea. Knowing that thousands of tons of bagged deicer gets used each winter in Michigan, the founders of Hot Pink Deicer saw a way to both improve an everyday product and give it more purpose. Hot Pink Deicer is safer, more effective, and less expensive than comparable products, and a portion of the proceeds directly benefits families in need. Since 2010, Hot Pink Deicer has offered financial gifts to a growing list Southeast Michigan families.
